![]() Thank you both so much for the use of your beautiful condo. The sun was shining every day, we didn’t see a single drop of rain. The early morning walks on the beach, the long days in the sun and the afternoon swims in the pool were exactly what I needed. Much Aloha! A fantastic first trip to Maui – can’t wait to come back. Your Condo was great and had everything we needed!
![]() Thanks for once again sharing your Maui home with us. Everything you need and more is just waiting for you – as you walk in the door of 107. WIFI has been great for us to keep in touch with family and friends. To wake up each day to rolling surf, blue sky and singing birds is indeed “heaven” We have enjoyed the beach walks and the swimming. We love watching the Hawaiian families and their children at the beach. So many nice, friendly people around. We hate to leave this paradise. ![]() Once again we have truly enjoyed the comforts of 107. It is very easy to walk in and immediately feel at home. Each time we visit, we meet more new friends and enjoy the company of those whom we have met in past years. Thank you Steve and Tina for giving us the opportunity to once again experience a very relaxing holiday. This definitely is a “slice” of paradise! ![]() What a wonderful experience to have a whole month at HKOK and Maui! Tina & Steve this is a great spot, and so well equipped! We’ve made use of the internet connection to keep in touch with Canadian news, but more importantly, daily pictures of our first grandchild! We certainly feel at home here, and look forward to future visits. Thank you again! What do we love about Hale Kai O’ Kihei? Everything.
•We love walking the beach first thing in the morning, before the sun peeks out over the edge of Haleakala, when ours are the first footprints in the sand. •We love the way that in the mid-morning, the water just off the shore is dead calm, and is as many shades of blue, blue-green, and turquoise as you can count. We love watching the horizon out past the shallows, where the water turns a deep, alluring blue, when the breaching Humpbacks send plumes of bright white spray into the air. •We love the midday when beach walkers and sun bathers take a break from the waves and the sun, seeking shade and sustenance, and quiet falls over Hale Kai O’ Kihei. •We love the mid-afternoon awakening when the wind picks up, the waves are more playful, drawing windsurfers and kite surfers to the shore and the challenges beyond. •We love the late afternoon, when the sun accelerates its race for the far side of Lanai and the lawn is a velvety canvas of yellows and greens, set against the dark slope of West Maui to the north, and a still-clear sky speaks to the promise of stars and far-away dreams to follow. •We love when the sun finally winks out behind Lanai, and those who have assembled on the lawn and beach to watch its farewell hug, kiss, or squeeze of hands •And then we love when darkness falls, and the two of us enjoy a quiet dinner for two on the lanai, and take in the enormity, clarity and depth of the wondrous night sky. •When the day is done – we climb in to our comfy bed for a Heavenly Sleep .. ready for another new day to follow! ![]() I have had the privilege of going to the Hale Kai in Maui since the age of two– and learned how to swim in the HKOK Pool. Now that I’ve got that down pat, I love to Scuba Dive around Molokini Crater and some of the other jewels in the area. I have enjoyed many different trips over the years, with immediate family, extended family, friends, and boyfriends, and have dozens of special Maui Moments from each. Among the most memorable things I have seen in Maui is the early morning sunrise on the top of Haleakala, shown in the picture above. Well worth the drive, and the struggle to wake up early– or stay up all night! What a wonderfully appointed home away from home; you have supplied everything – and more! Wow– it felt great from the moment we opened the door. The view here is brilliant; the whales have been entertaining us daily – what a thrill! The privacy of this spot is truly lovely. Thank you for sharing your island home and life with us.
